MEET THE AUTHORS

Bill Woodbury is a CADC II and has worked in the field of chemical dependency since 1988. He has served in a variety of positions, including counselor, program director and interventionist, and most recently is finding fulfillment as an equine assisted counselor. His ability to communicate with a varied audience has led him to develop numerous engaging and entertaining workshops, providing practical tools that lead to lasting change. Whether facilitating groups for newly recovering addicts, their families or the professionals who serve them, Bill’s compassion combined with humor, allows the freedom to look honestly at issues without needless introspection.

Linda Woodbury has worked in a variety of settings, serving youth and families since 1995.
With a BA in Human Development, specifically focused on the chemically dependent emerging adult, she has a heart to provide families with tools that support sobriety as well as maturation. Linda’s ability to inspire others to greater purposeful living has led her to develop a workshop series designed to discover one’s giftedness, one that benefits others as well as self. Serving as a mentor to young women as well as those in transition, Linda finds great joy coming alongside others, encouraging them as they seek direction for their lives. Together Bill and Linda are excited to share with you the concepts contained in Enable-ism!

Bill and Linda Woodbury have been married for twenty-nine years and counting. They have two adult children - both twenty somethings, both married, one gave them two grandchildren and the other a granddog. From Southern California, they enjoy spending time with family and friends in their lovingly tended overgrown backyard and pampering their rescue dog, a black lab named Maggie.
